Treasurer
The Treasurer shall have custody of all funds and securities of the New Orleans Photo Alliance. He or she shall keep or cause to be kept full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements of the corporation and shall deposit all monies and other valuable effects of the New Orleans Photo Alliance, in such bank and depositories as the Board of Directors may designate.

ReplyDeleteI am a chartered accountant which is the UK equivalent of a CPA and could possibly help depending on the workload. I was chair of the finance committee of KidsmArt for 4 years and I have been treasurer of many organizations over the years.
I haven't been a very active member of the Photo Alliance but I am a keen photographer and for many years was an avid underwater photographer
including a movie that won a local Bermuda competition. Now I am helping Lory with the photoshoot and photoshop work for her art as well as learning digital techniques etc.
I applaud Tony's willingness to step up and help the Photo Alliance by running for Treasurer. He certainly has the qualifications. Good Luck!
